Self-Evaluation

Over the past eight months, I have achieved significant milestones and made measurable contributions to the success of our location. I have worked closely with management and team associates to ensure on-hand accuracy, maintain compliance, and prevent shrink, all while fostering a safe and positive experience for both customers and team members.

Key Achievements:

• Since my arrival in April, we have achieved 100% Evidence Efficiency.

• Our Profit & Loss (P&L) is down year-to-date versus last year by $46,000 ($308,000 vs. $352,000).

• We have made significant progress in internal investigations, increasing from 7 closed cases last year to 36 cases this year, representing a 167% increase. We are NUMBER 1 in the REGION. When I joined Store 3473, there were no internal cases for the year—now, we have achieved 36 in just eight months.

• My Asset Protection Investigators (APIs) rank among the top in the region for performance. We’ve handled 1,704 external events this year, compared to 697 last year, and increased detentions from 186 last year to 353 this year. Together, we have prevented $166,289.42 worth of merchandise from leaving the store.

Team Development:

I have continued to focus on teaching, training, and developing my APIs through structured routines that enable us to maintain clear controls and positively influence our team associates. By holding myself, my team, and others accountable, we uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.

Additionally, I have conducted one-on-one training sessions with SCO hosts and AP service associates to ensure proper controls are executed effectively, minimizing shrink and promoting operational excellence. These efforts allow us to focus on controlling the factors within our influence while driving down shrink and maximizing team efficiency.

Opportunities for Growth:

One of my biggest opportunities is bridging the gap between operations and shrink prevention. My goal is to expand my knowledge of operational processes, enabling me to assist more effectively, better serve customers, and enhance profitability. This dual focus will allow me to balance shrink prevention and profit growth more effectively, ensuring that I can make a broader impact on the business.
