Steven McLaughlin

I began working in the food & beverage industry when I was fifteen and waited tables all throughout high-school & college. Changed my major from Graphic Design to Barbering & Cosmetology and became a professional hairstylist when I was 21. I tended bar while I was an apprentice and while I was building my clientele. Being behind the bar and behind the chair have helped me become incredibly efficient, well-rounded and great with people. For ten years I was the Lead Stylist at the 5-star salons located at Hotel Del Coronado, La Costa Resort and Spa, and The Park Hyatt Aviara. During that time, I was an educator for an international hair product line where I got to travel and cut on stage. I have a good eye and a hard work ethic. I also have management experience and have worked for an entertainment agency as a professional musician.
